Boys U12 - U19

Basic Information


WHYSA Boys Travel is part of the CJSA and play in the Central / North Central Travel League

 

 

 

Player equipment
Ball size 4 - U12
Ball size 5 - U13-U19
Shin Guards
Water

Practices
Teams practices twice a week, weather permitting
Players will wear travel gear at all times to practice (shirts, shorts, socks)
Players are required to bring equipment at all times
Practice fiields depend on the coach's schedule and field availability

Games
Games are played on both Saturday and Sunday, weather permitting
Typically, Friendly Games are on Saturday and League Games are on Sunday
Players are required to bring equipment at all times

Cup Games
Cup games typically are played on Saturdays
U12 game length: two 35 min halves, ball size 4
U13 - U14 game length: two 35 min halves, ball size 5
U15 - U16 game length: two 40 min halves, ball size 5
U17 - U19 game length: two 45 min halves, ball size 5
OT: two 10 min periods
Penalty kicks if still tied after 2nd OT (except for the Cup Final)

Tournaments
Teams usually play one tournament per season
Fall: Labor Day and/or Columbus Day weekend
Spring: Memorial Day and/or mid June

Field

Play 9v9
U11-12 game duration: two 30 min halves
field size: 50yds x 82yds.
 

Play 11v11
U13 & U14 Game duration: two 35 min halves
U15 & U16 Game duration: two 40 min halves
U17 - U19 Game duration: two 45 min halves
Field size: average size 120yds x 70yds.



Games
Coaches and players must have player passes
Coaches and players are stationed on one side of the field
Parents and spectators are required to be on the opposite side of coaches/players

 

 

Travel Fees:

  • Professional Coaching Fee per seasons which includes:
  • Practice twice a week for the length of the fall and spring seasons.  Practice begins as soon as the town allow the youth group to get on the fields
  • Coaching at all leagues/friendly/cup games and tournaments. 
  • Tournament fees - one in-state tournament during each season. 
  • Club registration
  • Referee Assignor Fees
  • Field Coordinator fee
  • CJSA insurance fees.

  • CT Cup fee at U11 and up
